Foreign nationals who wish to get married in Jamaica are required to land in the country at least 24 hours prior to submitting an application to the Minister of Justice for a Marriage License.

Some Jamaican Hotels will make all the arrangements for your marriage if you alert them in advance. Most marriage officers will perform weddings at their offices, homes or at places chosen by the couple and are able to provide witnesses for the ceremony.
